4 Reasons Not To Save Quality Assurance & Testing For Last

One of the most critical aspects of web design and development tends to be overlooked until the very last stage of a project or build: quality assurance and testing.

Developers, designers, and managers often become so focused on the timeline and deliverables for their client that the thought of taking a step back for five minutes every day to test the work that has been completed seems like a tedious task.

Many of us are accustomed to leaving quality assurance and testing until the last minute, but the truth is that this can lead to many more problems than taking the time to check test work being done throughout the process.

4 REASONS NOT TO LEAVE QA & TESTING UNTIL THE END OF YOUR PROJECT:

  • You don’t want to overlook how many things really need to be tested
  • You don’t want to run out of time before all of the necessary testing (and resolving) can be done
  • Rushing to keep up with the timeline leaves more room for errors to be made

Ideally, a project should be planned out in a way that prioritizes quality assurance and testing. This is true for any build, development, or design project. This way, the team will be able to stay on track and provide the client with a fully working product that they have been expecting from the very beginning.

Reducing the time for testing at the end of the process will minimize the potential for a tense and strained work environment. It will ensure that you end up with a well-thought-out product that will please your client.
